Ashlie Bobb enters her first season at the helm of the Hanover women's lacrosse program in 2024-25.
Ashlie comes to Hanover after her most recent stint at the University of Saint Mary’s (KS) where she piloted the program for two seasons. Before her head coach promotion, she served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Spire.
While with the program, she implemented recruiting strategies and provided training and preparation for student-athlete success, including an emphasis on academic achievement. She assembled strength and conditioning programs for in-season and out-of-season workouts while also running all aspects of the lacrosse program.
The 2022 season saw her raise the program to new heights as they secured their first post-season conference tournament berth while earning the KCAC Team of Character award. Several student-athletes earned conference academic honors and IWLCA accolades.
Furthermore, Ashlie honed her skills working for KC Elevate Lacrosse/Blue Valley Youth League where she managed multiple teams throughout the year. She helped with logistics, coordination of teams, as well as player development.
She got her start in the Kansas City Lacrosse Club before transitioning to a varsity assistant coach at Olathe High School.
The Central Ohio native earned her Business Administration degree from The Ohio State University before earning her Master’s in Sport Management from Liberty University. While at Ohio State, she shot archery for the Buckeyes.
Hanover’s Vice President for Athletics, Lynn Hall commented, “We are very lucky to hire someone with Ashlie’s experience and dedication to student athletes. She will be a great addition to our coaching staff.”
